Memorable Resturants on/near field

To be honest, I've never had a decent lobster roll anywhere outside of the NE coastal towns. May be just a recipe thing than a "freshness of catch" problem, I dunno. Buy yeah, Mexican food (or even BBQ) in some areas of the country can be a specious experience. I'll leave the Lob-stah rolls to the regions that are known for it, lol.

I remember I was on a work trip one time to DC. The locals I was working with wanted to go to lunch at this "great Mexican restaurant". Okay, I like Mexican food, I mean I grew up in Phoenix, I guess I should like it.

Um, yeah. What they thought was "incredible" Mexican food was really quite uninspiring. I've had better Taco Bell. I guess that's what I get for going to a Mexican restaurant in DC!

1/8th of a mile away walk (and nice walk BTW). "Higher Grounds" restaurant in East Haddam CT...Great breakfast and lunch...and has vegetarian meals which my veg friend appreciated.
Goodspeed is under new ownership/management. A very cool approach and airport.
