Honeywell Bendix/King KMD-550 and Garmin GPS-175

Does anyone know if it is possible to get curved flight path segments i.e. holding patterns and DME arcs to display on the Bendix/King KMD-550 when hooked to a Garmin GPS-175? I've tried with a serial RS-232 connection with the GPS-175 set to Aviation Output 1 and also with an ARINC-429 and GAMA Format 1. Everything works except curved flight path segments.

I think the format needs to be MapMX. However, I'm not sure the KMD-550 can understand MapMX. You might want to consider swapping out the KMD-550 for an aera 660 in an AirGizmos mount.

I've been hoping Garmin will make a MFD that is the same size as the Bendix/King KMD-550.
