Anybody put one on a straight tail 1964 C-150, does the rudder still balance with the weight of the tail beacon, and with the tail light position down low will the GPS part work?

Don't know the answer, but did you try asking on the 150-152 forum? Best online club in the world, worth the annual price of admission for a 150 owner.

I have a wingtip beacon on a cessna 150m made by the same company and so far it works good. Can’t beat the price for a adsb out unit. You can still use your old transponder. My other planes have Stratus esg transponders. I like them too but they are more costly. — Darrell

The Tail beacon weighs <1/4 ounce more than the old tail light on my Cherokee. We saw no need to re balance.
