Stunning scenery! Does Idaho have more backcountry airstrips than any other state (except maybe Alaska)? I think I remember reading that somewhere.

It is since the usual ground elevations are low enough that normally aspirated engines aren't degraded too much. Of course there are some higher elevation airstrips that'll keep you on your toes.
