Worked at Miramar for just under 2 yrs. Best duty station ever.

Actually have my "name on a plaque" in the tower.
 
My close call... Or maybe it was on purpose.

yeah you learned real quick to not get too far south in the Miramar pattern......unless you really wanted to get up close and personal with MYF traffic

When? I was there 2001-2004! No names on plaques, but there is a major who prolly still curses me to this day.

I left in Feb 2000. Lived in crappy Mira Mesa.
