    The number 11

There is no 9.11 in the Quran, but nontheless we all had better start learning it and be ready for more of these number comparisons, now that we have sent a message to the world that we as a country are no longer willing to take the steps needed to defend ourselves, there will be a lot more of...

    I saw the DA-42 and D-Jet

True, but they dont experiance nearly the stress that a powered aircraft does, they stay in the trailer during strong winds and turbulance, they also are not on the line everyday being used and abused by the neophytes. Not a good comparison.

    The Hangar Incorporated

i dropped in there a few years ago with a sick indian, they replaced 2 jugs and a turbo for me while it was there, since it was almost to an annual I had them do that as well, they seemed to do good work, I had no squawks, there prices were well within reason.

    I saw the DA-42 and D-Jet

The DA40 is a nice airplane to fly, much better than the Cirrus, but for me there is no headroom, My only concern about the DA40 and the rest of the plastic toys, how well are they going to hold up. When they have the same years and hours as the 172 that they replaced on our airport, will...

    What's next, the gallows?

Actually he should have been castrated the first time, then we wouldnt be having this problem. He reminds me of the illegal aliens complaining about be deprived of their rights by being deported,

    I thought....

If you store them in a bin in a dark cool root cellar they almost last forever. But then almost nobody has an honest to goodness root cellar any more.

    What would you do?

Just another incidence that highlights the eroding of values in our liberal based society, just over a year ago, someon stole my flight bag, with my GPS, Handheld, Logbook, and everthing else, from the backseat of my truck, parked at the local airport, in broad daylight. Really speaks badly...

problem is, by the time you react and stop the normal pulling back, you have already lost so much that in both altitude and airspeed that you are in trouble

    Losing Engine On Takeoff

Go Take a checkride and see what happens if you fail to maintain Vyse or Blue line to 400 feet, take a 135 ride in any twin and go over blue line before 400 feet.

    Losing Engine On Takeoff

I teach my students to accelerate to a cruise climb speed and maintain that, usually works out to vyse plus 15, but check you POH. Of course there are times when best rate or best angle of climb need to be used for obstacle clearance,

    Losing Engine On Takeoff

I pretty much agree with Julies article, she basically says the same thing that I and a few others such as Barry Schiff have been saying for years. Pilots of both single and multiengine airplanes are being mistrained and in some cases killed, because of a serious flaw in the way that they are...

    Fuel gauges in FAR?

I have a Seiko, it is accurate almost to the ounce in every airplane that I fly, better and more relliable than any gauge.

    The new AOPA Pilot Magazine

Actually except for the seats and lack of headroom it is a really nice piece of eqipment, performs well on both and outperforms every twin built by cessna and piper on one, will pretty well perfom with the big barons on one, with 2 on board, no baggage, full fuel, does feel a little nose heavy...
