    1973 Cherokee Challenger Cincinnati Partnership

I'm potentially open to trading for a good condition SUV, truck, or mini van capable of towing 3500lbs. I would prefer a vehicle in the $6k-$12k range with you making up the difference in cash. I need something reliable with lower miles as this will be used for business purposes.

    1973 Cherokee Challenger Cincinnati Partnership

Thanks! It is surprisingly difficult to find nice planes to partner on. I was lucky to stumble upon my partnership, and will miss the access to the plane. Unfortunately, as a budding entrepreneur, I can't have it all... I will still keep it as the screen saver on my phone though :) Good...

    1973 Cherokee Challenger Cincinnati Partnership

By the way, I apologize for the very poor quality pictures. My cell phone camera does decent, but the lighting wasn't perfect.

    PPL Hours Breakdown

It all depends on the person...I was a young guy when I got mine, but I have log entries over the course of 3 1/2 years totaling 45.3 hours when I took my checkride. Admittedly, the bulk of these hours were evenly spread over the last 2 years. While not the ideal way of obtaining your ticket...

    Buy Your Last Plane First

Same boat here...I went the partnership route and I am really enjoying it. I do not get to fly as much as I would like because of work and other commitments, but the plane is always there and someone is flying it on most weeks. An idle machine is no bueno. Additionally, the ability to overnight...

    Oatmeal..................(N/A)

If I am eating it at home and dont need the convenience of the packets, I use regular oats with an apple diced up with cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground cloves. I add some milk once its done cooking. The apple adds plenty of sweetness for my taste, but you can add some maple syrup (real) if you'd like.

    Oatmeal..................(N/A)

I love it. Try this. Take an apple and dice it up. Add one pack of Oat Revolution Maple and Brown Sugar Steel Cut Oats and the required amount of water or milk. Microwave per the package. Its GREAT! I suppose you could use other maple and brown sugar instant oats, but this brand it my preferred...

Stalls in a Piper Archer II

I'd recommend doing some stalls in a 172 and see if you can get a little wing dip. Its kind of scary when it first happens, but it it great learning. When I did my recent BFR, I was in a 172, and for the first time I experienced a pretty dramatic wing dip with a power-on stall. Its kind of an...

Houston Air Traffic Controller Saves Pilots Life!

Agreed. I think many things the FAA does incentivizes bad/risky behavior. I wonder how many undiagnosed diabetics are flying, or how many people put off other warning signs for fears of losing their medical. Its ludicrous.
