Enrique's at Ponca City, Ok, is great. And there is a new restaurant just opened at Uvalde, Tx called Hangar 6.

I second Farmington as a good example for General Aviation. It's not over done, but large enough. It also helps to have a good manager like they do. The building is clean and handy. It seems like Texas has put in a series of similar FBO buildings.

It was a good day at Bulverde Airpark and it was good to meet Jay and Mary, too. We are planning to invade the Airport Hotel and Diner in Fredericksburg tomorrow. It's a free for all! We should be there by the crack of noon if the clouds lift.

Thanks for the welcome. In these parts we like We- B- Smokin, The Hutchinson Steak House, Enrique's at Ponca. Another good one is Stearman Grill at 1K1, Stearman Field, in Benton, Ks. I will eat there this evening. All of these places are in sight of the runway.
