    DPE PPL price

I don't see how being a "repeat offender" is related to the date of check ride. I took my check ride 3+ decades (since we are counting in decades) ago and have been instructing since then. In that time, I have had one student that had to go back. On the other hand, I know of an instructor that...

206H owners, how's your oxygen usage?

Pro tip: if you plan on using O2, don't leave the bag with cannulas and flow meters behind the rear seats.

206H owners, how's your oxygen usage?

It is plenty for us; usually only two people plugged in. The POH chart indicates 5 hours for 2 people; but I think that is at 18k+ using a mask. It will last a lot longer than that with cannulas. We don't use it frequently, but nice to have it available.

So, an online experience does not count as "teach themselves"? I think online learning is more difficult and requires more discipline than sitting in a chair and getting credit. In any case, educational experience is irrelevant. End result is the same; a diploma. My diploma is exactly the...

Boulder/Superior sue Rocky Mountain Metro Airport over "100LL"

Agreed, but sad. I guess that is the price to pay for living in a rural area. I'll pay it. It will be worse if they are able to do away with the electoral college. Enough politics; I'm going for a walk on my seven acres.

Do you think a bachelors degree will ever become necessary again to become a pilot at the airlines?

Also consider on-line programs. There are a number of universities that offer aviation degrees and on-line courses. An aviation degree is not a requirement, but once you have your certificates they will count towards a lot of an aviation degree requirements. After I had my certificates, I...

Boulder/Superior sue Rocky Mountain Metro Airport over "100LL"

Please do. Colorado (aka Colofornia) is not the problem; Denver is the problem. The rest of us in Colorado have zero say in what happens in the state. They even want to tell us who we can vote for. Wishing eastern Oregon luck in wanting to become part of Idaho; maybe we can follow suit. I'm...
