    Planing to Buy

Here is what I installed for my experimental a few years ago for comparison. I have the ACK E-04 ELT. It does come with a remote as well that's installed in my panel. Item Description EFIS-D100 D100 SV-ADSB-472 SV-ADAHRS-200 EDC-D10A Remote Compass Backup Battery D100 Battery...

    Buying logbooks without a plane

Make sure you get a prebuy done by someone that's familiar with the type. Hard to tell if there's inter-page corrosion if you don't know what you're looking at. Also make sure you get a compression check with the prebuy. If there's no compression it probably hasn't been used much.

Piper Cherokee 140 With High Engine Time. Worth The Buy?

FWIW, I bought my old Cherokee 140 with ~1800 SCMOH and flew it for 12 years putting another 1000+ hours on it. In that time I replaced one cylinder and a muffler (along with the usual mag inspections and replacing worn spark plugs). I flew it about once a week and changed oil at 25 hour...

Not a great day...help with diagnosis

Any more updates Hish? Just curious if you've found the culprit. I owned a similar Cherokee for a number of years and can't say that I've experienced a similar issue before. From your YT vid it does sound like an exhaust leak. I've had my share of leaky exhaust and intake gaskets but never...
