I hate turbulence and I own a plane. It's not so much a roller coaster - more like getting slammed by the hand of god in random directions. Bang (up), Boom (left), Konk (down), etc. On the way home from SC as a newly minted pilot (~90 hours) I hit "moderate turbulence". It scared me silly...
