Saint Barths from San Juan PR Flights

They stay within glide distance of land, it's not really that far between islands down the chain from SJU to St Barts.

    [NA]Norway [NA]

My wife and I went to Norway in July 2018. We loved it. We spent a day in Bergen, then took the train to Voss for a three-day kayaking and hiking trip with Nordic Adventures (https://nordicventures.com/norway-tours/norway-outdoor-adventure/). It was great! Gorgeous and quiet. We ended up in a...

When to do Multi Engine training?

I got my first multi-engine job (VFR 135) with 9.1 hours of multi. Most regionals require between 25 and 50. You need 50 hours for multi-engine ATP, but can credit up to 25 from your sim training at the airline.

Driving a Semi Tractor for Fun

I once got both from a doctor in Wisconsin. That was a few years ago and I haven't managed to make it happen again since then.

    Multi engine CFI

You could check with Denny at Air-D in Backus, MN. http://www.flyaird.com/ His website's not much to look at, but the training was good when I did my commercial multi with him 13 years ago. I've had no contact since, so I can't speak of the current quality or availability.

    Wing design question

That's a Shorts 3-30. I'm told the fuselage of that aircraft actually provides quite a bit of lift as well as the wing. Also, all of the fuel is stored in the upper fuselage, so the wing doesn't need internal space for fuel tanks.

    Waze GPS APP

I've been using Waze for almost two years. I haven't found it to be a data hog. In the last month it used less than 100MB of data, and I've done a fair amount of driving with it.

Career Path (what to do next?)

I just ran across this ad. http://epicflightacademy.com/flight-instructor-training-at-no-cost-domestic-students/ A flight school offering free flight instructor training in exchange for a commitment to instruct for them. I'm not affiliated, nor do I know anything about the school.

    Piloting career without a CFI?

If you get to 500 hours it gets a little easier. I'm living and flying in Puerto Rico for a couple years. Check out Air Cargo Carriers (Shorts FO), M&N Aviation, Ameriflight (EMB-120 FO), Air Flamenco (VFR 135). Could also try Great Lakes. If imagine Alaska has done options too.
