    "Akward Landing" at KASH

Agreed, the prop looks short. Perhaps it is curled but you cannot tell from that angle. The side photo in the article is blurred so it is herd to know.

Cessna 172RG: https://www.wmur.com/article/plane-lands-with-gear-up-at-nashua-airport-nobody-injured/28945754 I assume he shut the engine down before landing and made sure the prop was horizontal but who knows :)

    1976 182P Skylane - $87,500

Well, I have the Trolltune gross weight increase STC so the take-off Useful is 1271# in the standard configuration. In the Cargo configuration (rear seats removed..read Oshkosh configuration) it is 1294#. I have weight and balance for both as well as excel spreadsheets for both. Of course the...

    1976 182P Skylane - $87,500

Hi Ryan, Your post is kind. I don’t plan on leaving the board. Although I have burned out a little I still love aviation and think I can contribute to the group. If nothing else I will continue to learn from your posts Thanks, Kevin

    1976 182P Skylane - $87,500

You are very kind to offer, thank you. I am trying to manage where and who is responding. The more sites the harder the management. I have had good response so I would like to limit where the airplane is advertised for now. I do really appreciate your offer. You are a good guy, Kevin

    1976 182P Skylane - $87,500

In December I retired from my flying job and thought I would fly for pleasure more but I'm not. I am moving to Texas next year and will use the money for other earth bound activities. Anyway, after 47 years and 18,000+ hours, I think I have enough great flying memories (including 16 years in...

    Lear down TEB

Flight, I think all this talk about MDA's, categories and ATC instructions is very instructional and I thank those who bring it to the table. I agree with a lot that has been said here but the simple fact is this crew had an incompetent Captain and an inexperienced First Officer (who had more...

    CT/Southern MA/Eastern NY Pilots?

I have been at 4B8 for about 12 years and have seen a take-over if the airport by the town of Plainville, an extended and repaved runway. In the last 8 years, an approved GPS approach to Rwy 02, new repaved tiedowns (many more drive through spots) and a change of ownership at Interstate...

Good people in this world? Yes

Sorry BU, this was not aimed at you. I agree with FRFLY172, this was supposed to be about the heroics of responders who deserve a pat on the back, not a semantics discussion . Thanks for the clarity. Kevin
