    Pausing PPL

5 months later, and I still haven't returned to school. But.. we're getting some help for 1.5 months and baby's sleep is already a bit more stable, so I am thinking to get back into it. I can max it out at 3 sessions a week for this duration and try to get that second stage finished, but I think...

    Pausing PPL

That is a great idea! I have been training in a Piper Tomahawk (PA38-112), so I guess a little too heavy for SP. Still worth to see if I can do that somewhere at a different school nearby.

    Pausing PPL

Cool thanks for the suggestions, everyone! And also for the wishes with the baby :). Chair flying/simulation are great ideas, and I'll try to catch up on theory if baby allows :). Pausing PPL

Hi, I am planning to take a break form my part 141 training. Got a baby on the way and I plan to take at least 2 months off. Genesis Aero: between 238-398$/h (incl 68$ for instructor), depending on plane. Planes: Cessna 172, Cirrus SR20 Generations...

    PPL school near Austin Texas

Thank you all for your kind replies. Above and Beyond does not work with non-citizens unfortunately. Some schools may allow it if you have TSA approval. Therefore I am now contacting some of the others mentioned in the thread: Black Hound Aviation, Gensis, Pilot's Choice. If they don't take...

    PPL school near Austin Texas

I am interested in taking flight lessons to obtain a PPL for hobby flights. I live in North Austin and have zero experience. On the forums I read it's best to avoid AUS, because you'll spend most of your time to get in and out of airspace. Georgetown is close by, but I can consider others, like...
