Thanks for that. But it appears that Label 101 (Selected Heading) isn't in the low speed labels, isn't that the one thats used for the heading bug on the Aspen, which the Trutrak follows? OR does the Aspen simply retranslate the heading bug selection into left/right steering calls to the trutrak?
That would be great if you could. That document shows theres very little labels passed on low speed, while all of them are passed on high speed. It looks like if we went to low speed, we'd loose the heading bug tracking that TruTrak currently does. My setup is this:

It appears that I'd need high speed, not low speed.

Aspen finally released a firmware for the EFD1000 and E5 units that FINALLY allows us to use the altitude selector on the Aspen to send desired altitude information...
It's done via user submissions. I think a single user submission is held as pending for a while, unless another user submits the same price around the same time frame then it gets "auto approved" and updated. I've submitted new prices for a few local airports and noticed the price would...
This is one thing about the Cardinal that really keeps me from "upgrading" to a larger airplane.....its crazy wide cabin at 48", and the roundness of the door bulging also gives more hip room.
So, coming from a 177RG, how does the cabin width compare in an A36? One thing I love about my 177RG is the massively wide cabin at something like 48". It makes fitting two wide people in the front a non-issue and we all have plenty of shoulder room and "leg sprawling out" room. Whats the...
Retracts. I’ve been using Joe Ruck for the past 4 years he’s beat anyone that’s quoted this same policy and coverage. It always comes down to retractable gear. A normal straight leg 177 would be half that rate I pay. Avemco couldn’t even get lower. I have it insured for 180k hull value

My Trutrak has never performed well in holding altitude. I've worked with a few shops trying to get it to fly right, and it just seems ti want to slowly porpoise when trying to hold an altitude. Toss in the CONSTANT complaints of needing trim, and I really don't like to engage the stupid...
I've been flying behind my Aspen E5, TruTrak, and IFD540 for a while now, and I haven't been happy with the integration, and was just wanting to poll the group to see if any updates or news has been released in a while.
My install doesn't have the ACU from Aspen, but I do have GPSS...
I just saw this thread :-0. IF my Cardinal wasn't in annual right now I'd try to get out to meet some of y'all. Last time I ate at the Runway Cafe @ GMU it was actually pretty good.
