But I'm an idiot and can not find the exit button to close it out without shutting down the whole iPad.
Can someone please tell me how to exit the GTN trainer on the iPad? I tried RTFM without success.
Thanks!!

Most that thermal in packs with other gliders wear a chute. Also those that play around with nasty lift as it is easy to get tossed around and over-stress the bird recovering.
Jim,
If they were concerned, they would have removed the part numbers from the components. I just got another one in and took a look inside. Amazing. Its prehistoric.
Plano is spot on. The only thing this GE GCU does not do is the reverse current function. That is handled by the RCR or...
I'm working on an experimental application which is currently using a GE GCU but only about half the functions of that GCU. I have an overhaul manual, schematic, theory of operation and parts list for the unit. I would like to do my own design incorporating the GCU elements I am using along...
I'm employing some current limited contactors (also known as remote breakers) in an experimental application.
Is anyone familiar with their wiring and theory of operation? Specifically, I'm looking to understand the operation of the current shunt, the three small diameter posts and how they...
This is just plain funny when I look at my near zero electric bill (I'm over the five year return point so I've got my money back). No matter how the system came into existence (we obviously do not care about such dribble as we drive around in ICE cars), I no longer have a meaningful electric...
Not for you DP, but for anyone else listening.
"But that’s all you’re doing today is burning coal."
It is a common argument but off the mark by a lot. Energy unit per mile is on the side of electric as gas powered cars are so inefficient. Electricity can be generated by more than just coal so...
Instead of going back and forth personally, I'll concentrate on solutions...
Your post is exactly the type of thing that has me curious. You write well and you obviously think and yet its good sport to take an opposite position to simple common sense. It may be good sport but it kills our...
nrp,
I did not want to use the stock hydraulic pump on the 731 in this installation (it was Skydrol and not 5606 amongst other reasons) but preferred an electric pump pack so that the gear could be cycled without a mule and I could move the mass to fore-cg. I did not find anything remotely...
Bell,
I've got the GCU overhaul manual and have digested the schematic. Its analog so a bit out of my bailiwick but I was able to understand its functionality. I'm mostly curious as to the SG's output at idle in the absence of any additional field exception from the GCU. Is it sufficient to...
Got all the WestWind, Hawker and the like documentation I need in addition to some overhaul manuals from CMMs. I'm just trying to understand the overall functionality so thus the desire to speak with someone that has first hand SG overhaul experience.
SG combo....
I'm grafting a TFE731 to an experimental application. I've got an overhaul manual for the GCU and the RCR but it raises questions as to the exact mechanism and timing of the generator function coming on line. It seems like the GCU starts providing ("A") field current to permit...
By chance do one or more of you have overhaul facility level knowledge of Starter/Generators? I'm looking for information on things like voltage v. rpm curves for unloaded units without field current and max load sensing/regulation (D load sensing with current fold back).
Thanks,
Bill
