    First time I ever saw the Thunderbirds, they were flying F100s, second time F4s, then F16s, nothing like the nose of the F4! Grew up in Fort Worth, and a neighbor was the lead test pilot for General Dynamics, and did all of the development work on the F16... D.

    Eddie-- It happens all the time, even on those beautiful concrete columns along the interstate...and it's easy to fix. If you want pristine sides just use a bag of quickcrete, without the gravel component, and trowel that into the honeycombed areas, btw, this is called 'point and patch' easy...

    All I can say is WOW!!! At those rates, I would fly out and try to get everything in a 2 week period, flying everyday, while staying with my Mom, who happens to live in Benbrook! As you are significantly cheaper than I can find here in the greater Atlanta area. Let me know when you get it up...

    Yes when I thought about pursuing this about 10 years ago, the Flying club at Dobbins was still active, but no more. Headed to Macon to train isn't really an option as it's about a 2 hr drive. Though it would be a way to save a few $$. So, I believe I'm going to purchase a training flight kit...

    Well owning an airplane is out of the question, for now anyway, though I am going to talk to my dad, and try to use his...though It's in North Little Rock Arkansas, and I'm in Cumming GA, would have to find a home for it...i.e. a Hanger, as he finished a complete restoration a few years ago...
