    A-4 vs F-18

First time I ever saw the Thunderbirds, they were flying F100s, second time F4s, then F16s, nothing like the nose of the F4! Grew up in Fort Worth, and a neighbor was the lead test pilot for General Dynamics, and did all of the development work on the F16... D.

    Tiedown spot options?

Eddie-- It happens all the time, even on those beautiful concrete columns along the interstate...and it's easy to fix. If you want pristine sides just use a bag of quickcrete, without the gravel component, and trowel that into the honeycombed areas, btw, this is called 'point and patch' easy...

    Clean up interior trim

Are the aluminum panels easily removable? If so, what would you like it to look like? If'n it were me, I'd remove the panels, take them back to the house, remove the previously mentions faux wood, and adhesive, thoroughly clean, and I believe would give said panels a 'brushed' finish, with a...

    Tiedown spot options?

Yeah, would be better off getting it from a truck, Form it yourself, lay in 6x6 WWF (Welded Wire Fabric), have it dumped in by a chute, Strike it off, Float it, and give it a broom finish, You and a few friends could knock this out in about 4 hours. Remember to strike in a control joint every...

    Thinking out Loud...

Yes when I thought about pursuing this about 10 years ago, the Flying club at Dobbins was still active, but no more. Headed to Macon to train isn't really an option as it's about a 2 hr drive. Though it would be a way to save a few $$. So, I believe I'm going to purchase a training flight kit...

Well this I dont think will be a problem, as I spent 20 years in the military. And I have none of those things that are mentioned, so I'm not really too worried. I certainly appreciate all of the input, and information on the site. Thanks guys D.

    Thinking out Loud...

Just asking for advice here, as I plan on finally pursuing my PPL, as I've been a flying enthusiast since I was a kid, and probably have 250,000 miles flying commercial. My Father has an airplane, a Piper Pacer, that he owned back in the '60s, and tracked it down and restored it...
