Just to be curious, why can't an engine without logs be overhauled? I assume as long as all AD's are complied with it is an airworthy engine? Thanks.

It's an I model. From looking at prior AD's, it is basically looking like a full disassemble of the engines is required, plus replacing quite a few unknown parts. And that's not even getting to the airframes. Guess we were thinking if it's only putting in $10-$20k it would be a good deal, but...
