I agree learning Timed Turns, Timers in holds and Timed approaches is really cool.
Anytime I do an ILS, if it has a LOC with A Time, I alwasy set the clock and see if I can hit it.
I don't know of any VOR timed approaches any more, but there were a couple during my training and they were fun too.
So this seems to get many. It finally clicked with me, when I realized you don't actually flare the airplane, you fly the plane down to the runway and then enter "slow flight" trying not to climb and not to descend. The plane will just settle onto the runway.

There was an unexpected error (type=Internal Server Error, status=500).
That is awesome, I put in RPJ and found "The flight deck lounge"

One piece of advice I was given is to do 2 each month when you go to the airport to pay your hangar bill.
If it is IMC just file and go (you will be current if you do 2 each month, because you will have had 12 in the previous 6 months...)
if it is not IMC look for a fellow...
