it'll cost way more than $44K for that ....even without the engine. But there are others for sale in a similar price range....so.
my used 330ES was $1,800.....from Sarasota Avionics. But, you'd need an approved GPS source to use that for ADS-B out.
those are the only products that play with the Garmin box.:confused:
I installed a 330ES in mine....unit cost $1,800, $60 SW update the 530W, $300 transponder & static check. No $500 rebate....and I didn't get...

but, yes, that's not how it's done....out high and fast....and back...
cept.....if I'm true-ing out at 194 kts....the headwind component ain't as bad as true-ing at 160 kts.
so, for a 35 kt headwind....that's 159...
or...if you're lucky you'll have a head wind both ways. ;)
