Back from Ground School. Sims are 3-4 week wait. Plane is in annual, but otherwise it's looking good. I'll wait until this weekend to worry about a room.
Today I started ground school at Piedmont. I'll get home Apr 12 and then wait for a sim training date. Some guys are waiting 2-3 weeks between ground and sims, so I'm a solid maybe for this trip.
Started with Commodore 128. Zilog Z80 and CPM. Next was 80286 I overclocked by soldering in a 8 MHz crystal oscillator. Played a lot of MS Flight Sim on that box.
IBM owns The Weather Channel which owns Weather Underground, Intellicast, and a bunch of others. Like most things that IBM buys they're adding a considerable amount of suck and taking out most of the awesome from those products.
I have a slightly damp basement. I run a humidifier down there all the time yet there is a slight damp odor. A friend suggested I get an ozone generator to cure the smell. I did. It worked. I got one way, way bigger than I needed. I ran it for one hour in my 1500 sq ft basement and now two...

I'm gonna try and come, but I took a job flying for Piedmont. I'm sitting right now on a training delay and they project my class will start in late Feb, early March so it's pretty likley I'll be training while you guys are drinking bourbon and singing off-key without me.
