    Know of any flying jobs?

Sounds like a good company. Nope, my instructor's name is Jesse. He's pretty new there.

    Know of any flying jobs?

Yeah, I've yet to hit those magic Part 135 numbers. Fortunately, if company's are only hiring into an SIC position a lot of times they only ask for Part 135 currency (an 8410 from a training facility i.e. SimuFlite). I have a former instructor working at Wisconsin Aviation doing flight...

    Know of any flying jobs?

I'd be up for anything. It's amazing the flight instruction jobs are even hard to come by. A Beechjet job would be nice. Especially since I'm Part 135 current and ready to go! I'm actually from WI...so Madison would be great!

    Know of any flying jobs?

This summer I had ten students and things were busy! On top of this I work an unpaid internship at CAE Simuflite where I fly captain or co-pilot for people who need training partners in their Beechjet initial and recurrent simulator training. As a result I'm PIC type rated in the Beechjet...

    CO1404 off runway at DIA

Nope, not on the Beechjet, bummer! However, that could be because of it's Mitisubishi forefathers. The most single-engine rudder pressure I've had to hold is on the darn Twin Comanche! That's partly because I have to have my seat pretty far back so my knees don't get tangled in the yoke.

    ForeFlight for iPhone and iPod

I dunno... It seems like I can get all that info with the free applications I have. The only thing I really don't have is a way to get good route information. This isn't an application, but a great mobile website for aviation info: picbrief.com

    PIC SOE Limitation

Yup, you can get it removed. If you live near a FSDO I'd walk it in with your logbook and they should be able to do it on the spot. However, this is one of those issues where you'll get 10 different FAA responses to the same question. Just make sure you talk to the right guy!

How to issue a press release

Make sure to have people read the statement that are far removed from the situation. That's how the public is going to respond to it.

It was windy I couldn't go flying!

There's a lot to be said here about having personal minimums, or in this case maximums. I'd certainly applaud those that have them, just so long as it doesn't limit them to the point where they are not flying in perfectly flyable conditions.

Glad to see at least 11 other introverts here on the board :)

    Hello, from the new guy!

At least once a week I hear GPM tower say, "Umm, King Air you're not in sight, you're probably at Arlington. You're looking for a very small runway on the east side of the highway." :D

    New flight bag

I have the Brightline bag too! The amount of zippers gets a little overwhelming, especially when you're hunting for things at night. The big center compartment is the perfect size for a headset and gps. Plus it looks good and doesn't take up the whole backseat! I hold the unique honor of...
