Since there is an opposite post in play, I figured I would start a new thread.

Which aviation content creators do you find worthy of your time?

For me it's Blancolirio, The Finer Points, Aviation 101, VAS aviation and 74 gear

I follow Steveokinevo, Avweb, 310Pilot and Matt Guthmiller regularly. In pure numbers, Stevo has nearly 500k subscribers, 310Pilot is around 225k and Avweb is near 200k.
 
I watch this pair of reptile breeders. The girl is really, really cute, don't know how she wound up with that guy. They have 2 million subscribers. They just opened a pet store/zoo.

Steveo, consistent watchable content. 310pilot, good stuff. I like Malibu pilot, I like that airplane. Baronpilot, good pilot, pushes the merch a little hard sometimes.

Educational aviation, Scott Dennstaedt avwxworkshop, lots of free stuff that have really helped with my weather planning.

Non aviation, there is this guy, Kurt Caz, he travels around 3rd world countries going to the worst neighborhood he can find, very entertaining, and it tends to restore my faith in humanity, although I fear one day he may get whacked. SV Delos, I just like sailing, Dangar marine, guy down under who restored a 30 foot trawler. And another sailboat construction one, Salt and Tar, about a guy and girl building a 35 foot or so wooden sailboat. They've been getting into the minutia lately, but i've stuck with it.
 
I enjoy Aviation101, Martin Pauly, and a few others. For some strange reason I also enjoy the sailing YouTube channel Sail life, and farming channels Welker Farm along with cattle rancher Our Wyoming Life.

My channel is even smaller, just 300+ subscribers. I have fun and enjoy watching and learning from my flights. I document where my bride and I travel.

FlyWire (Gunny Perdue) and VASAviation are the best accident analysis ones.

My favorite Aviation YouTuber would still have to be Captain Roger Victor.

I've fallen away from watching several others.... no real reason other than time

reminds me...I really need to go through and clean up my subscriptions..... getting a bit too cluttered
 
I don't really watch Aviation videos.
I probably watch 1/4 of what Mike Patey makes.

The rest is science and comedy.
Ryan George is the funniest thing on YouTube.

I somewhat follow steveo only because I like the TBM, I ignore his other videos. I’ve seen others but don’t subscribe. The only time I find myself looking for aviation videos is when my plane is down for an extended period. I rather go flying than watch videos.
 
MARTIN! I try to avoid a lot of fluff and watch for real usable something and he's the best instructor for my ears.
For some light fluff The Flying Monkey and family have the best production values.
74Crew, Kelsey has an interesting take on the zeitgeist. Im glad hes managing his disease!(inside joke)
310P needs to up their game. I could use more insight into usage along with the avionics humble brags. AFGS, get something that zooms if you want to point something out of the window!
For info on a specific planes I appreciate Skywagon University. Aerolife isn't bad but could use some presentation polishing.
AvWeb or AOPA for pertinent news.

Too many subscriptions on any topic and you won't get fed new suggestions.
Paul Harrel for gun infotainment without rabid politics or a sales pitch.

I watch the Great Michigan Bush Co. https://www.youtube.com/c/GreatMichiganBushCo channel a quite a bit. I've always had a bit of an infatuation with the Stinson 108's and Scooter is kind of fun to listen to, you can tell he really loves the stuff, and he's humble about it. It's not real high production or anything, just well put together and interesting to me.

I also watch Rich Wellner some and Trent Palmer. Went thru all Mike Patey's scrappy build pictures up to Oshkosh. Those are mostly the ones I watch.

I ALWAYS planned to answer with this if I was ever a musician being asked who my influences are.
Unfortunately, the rockstar thing didn't pan out.
 
Not sure about the "top rated" thing. I think a lot of YouTube creators come out with a good clip or two and then all of the thumbs up, likes, subscribers and gushy adoring comments lead them to believe that everyone is interested in their life. The fact is however that, even the best of them just don't have a thrilling enough life to produce a riveting 20 minute video every Tuesday and most of them get burned out pretty quick. So, rather than subscribe or have favorites I like to follow the new leads that show up in the suggestions que and pursue variety. The latest one I came across is Juliet Sierra,a cute young German gal that is into competition soaring in the Alps. There's lots of interesting stuff out there.
 
I have a few buddies that have successful YouTube channels. They're good channels - they're well done and there's a reason they're successful. But they're also really good dudes. I don't find that to be a coincidence.
 
I like this kids "why not" attitude. Timeless. I hope a bit of celebrity doesn't spoil and jade him.
 
Funny, I live and breath aviation in my day job and fly for fun on the weekends. As such, GA flying channels aren't as appealing to me. I'll watch them here and there, but not on a consistent basis.

Like a few others here, I do watch a fair number of sailing channels, which ironically, many of the sailers are pilots (albeit inactive). I guess since I don't have the time to blue water cruise around the world it's more fantasy to me.

I suspect that cruisers don't spend a lot of time watching sailing channels.
