I didn't get a frantic phone call from my husband, so I guess not us... again...

Nice plane, but how are lower 48 types supposed to get up there and back, in face of travel bans?

So then, which one of you guys won it?

I tried to watch the live video but it seemed like they had serious bandwith issues and I can't get the video to play from their website or FB site this morning. No email so I guess I made another donation to a very worthy cause.

I believe that recovering a tail dragger from a distant location is considered to be essential travel.

Guess not me either...

I think they had a bad lapel mic. And, they couldn't seem to figure out which one it was. At one point, Zoya had two mics on, and neither one worked very well.

Agree that Zoya had at least one bad mic I think even the good mics had a range issue. I noticed when the guy was speaking about all the work done on the plane and running through the vendors it seemed when his audio would go low someone in the background was telling him to take a step forward and then the audio improved.
I did finally watch all the way through and if I heard it correctly the guy who won the plan had a North Dakota area code but in this day and age of the cell phone area code doesn't mean much anymore about where you live today.
Worthy cause and even at 14K tickets sold I'll donate again next year :)
