Pre-takeoff checklist
The access doors on the hubba hubba caps for my club's arrow fell off while i was flying the plane...twice. They never seemed to be well-secured in the first place. I called around, and lopresti doesn't supply the access doors by themselves, just the whole kit. For $270-290, this situation sucks.
My question(s):
1. does anyone make replacement (3d printed?) access doors?
2. do the doors make any functional difference? other than preventing mud and such from getting in the triangle shaped hole
3. Is there a better/cheaper hubcap out there?
4. do hubcaps make any kind of performance difference?
in other news: there are free lopresti access doors somewhere in northern MN and Northern IA.
