1/4 share of 1975 P28R-200. G430W, DME, 4 place intercom, 3 blade prop, Piper Autocontrol 3 autopilot (holds heading). 478 SMOH, 11000TT. Hangared at KGTU about 75 yards from Pilots Choice Aviation. $200 month fixed plus $30/hr tach dry. Plan on 130kts @ 10GPH. At current gas prices fly for just $66/hr :D
Insurance prefers pilots with IFR rating.

You would be buying 1/4 of the corporation assets, which are airplane plus cash in the bank. I have a potential move on the horizon so I'm clearing the deck.

Asking $19,000. PM me if interested.:)

Sometimes SR Aviation on field, more recently Faulkner's Air Shop in Burnet

besides the price and the location, I'd be all over this.

Our hangar is surrounded by Mooney's. No 172s across or adjacent

I think he is trying to aid or participate in the purchase of the plane.

Perhaps, share information with him instead of arguing on what planes are in adjacent hangars?

Am I reading this correctly?
11,000 hour airplane for $76,000 (4 shares at $19,000)
plus $200 a month
Plus $66 per hour
Plus $30 per hour
I think it would come out cheaper buying a airplane and owning it by yourself....
Where does the $9600 per year go from the 4 shares at fixed $200 each?

Im curious about all this as well....

I may put my 172 up. 2700 TT and 100 SMOH.
$25,000 x 4 shares
Plus $75 per hour
Plus $30 per hour
Plus $250 a month
That would work out very well for me.
Its in Brenham, even have a diner on the field. You can eat there 4 times a month for a extra $200 a month fixed price.
Anyone interested?

Not the OP but I think you have a mistake in your figures above. It's $30/hr dry and you fill it up. With his fuel price it comes to around $66/hr wet. Not too far off what I plan for our arrow (although his fuel must be pretty cheap....)
I'm ASSUMING the fixed monthly cost will go towards hangar, insurance, and maybe annual?

Darn..... 5.05 where I am (I'm assuming your talking 100LL). It's been there for the past year or two. Pretty competitive for the area I'm in it seems.

This post is kinda like circumventing the profanity filter, derogatory commenting on price/value is not permitted.

1) My mistake, I didn't mean the 172 is right next to you. It might be 2 hangar doors down, not absolutely sure about the number.
2) Datadriver was replying to my incorrect wording on "next to" and I don't consider it arguing, he just pointed out that my information was not correct. " 'sall good, yo". :)
3) You guys might want to refrain from discussing the price/cost because the PoA house rules actually prohibit that.

Not completely, you just can't be negative or disparaging. If you think it's an excellent deal, you are welcome to voice that opinion.

Sure. But hey, you knew what I meant! Mission accomplished. :D
For those who don't, they can go look it up.

Sorry for the thrad derail, we'll shut up now.

Sorry for not responding earlier. Somehow I missed these posts. For sale was 1/4 of the corporation's assets, which was plane PLUS cash in bank. The plane itself was valued in the low 60s, and we had about 12k in the bank.

The only cost to corp. per hour was 30hr/tach- pay for gas yourself. Gas at KGTU was around $3.60 per gallon when I posted - hence the TOTAL per hour cost was $66.

As for the $9600 per year, try hangar($3900/yr), annual average($2000/yr), and insurance ($2000/yr). Usually a repair or two between annuals gobbled up a good chunk of the rest.

I was revisiting this thread tonight to say SOLD!

I just dropped the keys off with the new owner.
