Christmas Miracles do happen! The rare greaser Piper Comanche landing!

Almost 30 landings with my Comanche to date and I'm still waiting for this to happen. One day, I'm sure!

You have proof. No one else ever has proof.

I’ve filmed a few landings from inside the the Mooney. I consider it a win if the camera mount suction cup doesn’t drop from the window.
lol. Watching Mooney landings in the Oshkosh arrival vids made me feel less bad about my Comanche landings

Both planes have similar airfoils and landing characteristics.

“Use caution when opening the overhead bins as contents may have shifted during landing”

Tire skidding is a real thing with the hand brakes if the flaps are down.
Absolutely, my last flight review, flying w/a CFI who'd never been in a Comanche, during the preflight I explained that I will be retracting the flaps as soon as I'm on the ground. Once I showed him the ground clearance between the flap fully extended and the ground he understood. And yes I have Johnson bar flaps.
