I guess it is finally over. :rolleyes2:

Yogi Barra died this morning.

What a career in Yankees baseball! Hit a home run at his first time at bat in the majors.

Famous for his sayings like...

"It ain't over till it's over."
"It's deja vu all over again."
"When you come to a fork in the road, take it."
"I really didn't say everything I said."
"Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded."
"A nickel ain't worth a dime anymore."
"We were overwhelming underdogs."
"If people don't come to the ballpark, how are you gonna stop them?"
"I usually take a two-hour nap from 1 to 4."
"It gets late early out there."
"Never answer an anonymous letter."
"Pair off in threes."
"Always go to other people's funerals. Otherwise they won't go to yours."
"You can observe a lot by watching."

Honestly, I had no idea he was still alive.

Truly a legend. RIP.

My favorite....

"Baseball Is 90 Percent Mental. The Other Half Is Physical."

I used to quote this one to the kids when I coached. They would nod their heads in agreement then look at each other. Some got, most didn't but we always had a laugh.

A great ballplayer, RIP
