I would suggest looking into the refurbs from Apple - Same warranty as new, new battery, new outer case, comes in a box with plastic on it just like a new one.

You'll save $100 off the current new price... But you might consider a newer one too, since a 64GB WiFi iPad "3" (with Retina display) is only $10 more than the 64GB WiFi iPad 2 (both refurb).
