Would You Pay to be a Non-Departing Passenger?

sounds like most flights out of La Guardia, that technically are supposed to leave the ground, someday
 
no matter what ya think of, there's gonna be someone who wants to give it a go.
 
The thread-starting question confused me- "Pay to be a non-departing passenger..."; I have paid for that privilege twice in the last year, both times on AA.

Once, from SFO to DFW, and once from BTR to DFW.

:rofl: Spike, those exact scenarios in the news this last year inspired me for the thread title. At least those folks in India got exactly what they were paying for.
