For anyone who might be into this sort of thing, the World Chess Championship begins tomorrow in Chennai, India.
The reigning champion is Viswanathan Anand, from India.
The challenger is Magnus Carlsen, from Norway, and the top rated player in the world.
May be an exciting encounter, with Carlsen favored but untested in a match and venue such as this.
I believe the games start at 3PM Chennai time - which is pretty early in the US (10 1/2 hours difference). The games should be streaming live from the official site, http://chennai2013.fide.com
Anyway, should be a good match.
