Word Travels Fast

Yesterday I did my 2nd trip to the liquidation sale of my favorite store(Filene's, which will be closing because it's right next to a Macy's[whose parent has bought the Filene's chain]). Maine Mall is very near Portland International Jetport PWM, and I went over to Maine Aviation Corp. to discuss avionics upgrades for the Skyhawk. Right next to that division of Maine Aviation is the FAA Headquarters; so, I went in to say "hello" to a couple of the Examiners I know. The first words out of one of them were, "Hey, word is you bought back your old Skyhawk. Nice; Terry did a terrific job on it". Terry is a former FAA Examiner; I'd guess they stay in touch. It was nice to hear an endorsement.

You seem to know a whole bunch of interesting people. That has it's uses in it's own way...but it also means you can't get away with anything without everyone knowing about it.
