Im looking for a great place to fly my grandma out to dinner. We will be going this saturday. Im looking for a nice airport with a restraunt on airport with a great view of the field or some scenery. Thanks all!

Sheyboygan is where you want to go.

Right at the end of the runway, plenty of parking and seating, great food, good view of the airport approach.

Also try 91st Aero Squadron at PWK, or Pilot Pete's at Schaumburg but the food is much better at Sheboygan.

I think the Rockford (KRFD) airport has a nice restaurant. Double check though.

Last time I went to eat at Rockford, I had to use a courtesy car. Other than fast food, there were some decent places just off the SE side of the field.

It sure does! You'll have to walk over from Emery to the main airline terminal though.... it's a short walk, maybe 300ft.

The food is alright but I don't consider it much of a destination...

Yup, KSBM. Good food, and right on the ramp. Schaumburg 06C would work too but, as Mike says, the food is better at Sheboygan.

KPWK likes to specialize in jets these days, and you would have to park at the FBO and pay their landing fee.
