I thought I would post a few pictures of the ugly 172 I bought a few months ago. I have slowly been doing some fix up and its starting to turn around. The pictures where taken with my cellphone, so they are not the best. The new carpet looks much better than it appears in the photo.
The pictures are of the before and after.

How long do you think it will take to finish your project?

It will most likely be an on going project, As for the interior, I have the door panels, front panels and headliner left to do. So if all goes as planned, it will be done by the Gastons fly-in.

Rebuilding/refinishing can use a lot of sweat, blood and occasionally tears so I offer all my support and congrats on progress so far!
My computer is choking on the .bmp's however. got any jpg's?

Someone suggested that, but I will decline, it buffed out very nicely.
