Y'all have fun and take pictures for us! :)

I'd keep an eye on this front moving in. NWS says:

TODAY:
Mostly cloudy although some breaks of sunshine are expected this afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms likely especially late this afternoon. Highs 75 to 80. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.

This is what I'm picking up for my route of flight. The ceilings are too low for me, and there are storms moving in later. After 4 p.m. it looks like it's going downhill on Long Island. Too many unknowns for this VFR pilot.

:( :( :( :(

Bummer, but I don't blame you. Although, for us in central PA, I think the storms are going to miss us, based on the radar track so far. But, NWS does not seem to agree. We shall see I guess.

Next time, Toby.

Sounds like a good time for one and all. I'll see y'all there.

To Bad Toby! I feel for you. As I recall LI NY has had crap for weather every weekend for the past month. Pulling your hair out yet? I'll post photos. We will see you next time. Sigh:(

These are actually an improvement over the previous set of tafs, regarding thunderstorms anyway. At least they are mostly down the runway, everywhere I have to go except THV. When I plan to do a bit of TOL practice. Ah well, practice is good, right?

See you all around 12-1.

I can't take this anymore. This is the 4th weekend in a row like this.#!@%$%&*#@!!!

I'll call you later if things miraculously change. Katherine is flying down this morning and we'll see what it looks like.
:( :( :( :( :( :(

Given the TAF's, we'll be there, but plan to be airborne southbound before the scattered -TRSA start to slide into the Philly area around 1700 local -- nothing nasty forecast at home.

I'm on may way. They dropped the SIGMET that was blocking my route, and I look to be getting a 30kt tailwind. I will be staying the night, and taking off tomorrow, or monday, or whenever.

See you all in a few hours!
