Everything Offends Me
I asked this in chat....its my dumb question of the day.
You know the "Lets go (home team)" song? The one that goes:
"Lets go (2 syllable team name) clap...clap...clap clap clap" and then repeat...
Organ players will usually play a repeating note to start the chant. In every sport it just plays the notes and that's it, except Hockey. In Ice Hockey, there's a drum beat behind it. Is there some traditional reason for Hockey to have drums behind an otherwise boring and lame song?
Part 2 of stupid question: What is this song named?
