Thanks for checking in, Don. I still plan to bother you for a couple hours, one of these days. Yes the website was worrisome but as long as you are still at it, that's all that matters!

    Chris (closet Pete lover)

That don't sound right do it?

Here is a fresh link to the painter web site. I gave them a general idea, and they ran with it. I had a lot of comments on it at SnF including some criticism for filling all of the pop rivets. What can I say? I had the time, and I think it looks better.

I'm having a difficult time getting motivated again to resume work on the A-Plane. Can't put my finger on it, but it might have something to do with a totally trashed out garage.

Staying motivated is a huge deal! Start by committing to clean off the work bench and put away all the tools. Then commit at least 5 mins a day in the shop, even if it is just to look at the plans. Once I got started I was amazed at what I perceived as a huge project was an hour of work. Now that the weather is nice get after it! :D

You deserve the compliments! It's a great looking plane.

If you're looking to do a day trip, the local EAA chapter has a potluck/meeting on the 2nd Saturday of the month. You ought to bring it up here and show it off.

The shade of red may be debatable, but it does display the "N" for nowledge, in proper Husker fashion...

Alright! You have done a great looking job.

There is something about flying such simple aircraft with minimal instrumentation that just can't be had in the much more complicated modern craft.
