I don't really know how to frame the question :dunno:, but here goes.

I'm a 1600 hour spam can driver since 1980 and own a C206. Besides a couple of Bonanza ferrys, and a certification flight in an amphib Otter, Cessnas are all I've ever flown.

Lately I've been thinking about building/rebuilding an airplane. As much for the project as actually having two planes to feed :hairraise:. I've been an EAA member, looked at lots of stuff on the web, and can define my mission differently on any given day. :D

Having the 206 satisifies my cross country and heavy hauling needs. If I seek more speed from an experimental it will be complex, particularly for a first timer :) and expensive. I find the airlines to be useful in fulfilling that mission.

I'm interested in learning aerobatics. I've been a pax in a Citabria for a few rolls, loops, and 8's, but that's it.

So, it seems to boil down to low and slow, with aerobatic capabilities. My question for builders is; what have you built that meets this mission?

Thanks for any info.
