Adolph P. “Dean” Meisch, 85, died Nov. 26, 2011, at his home in Oak Harbor. Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in Oak Harbor. A complete obituary will follow. Arrangements entrusted to Wallin Funeral Home, Oak Harbor.

I know several of his friends frequent this page and may not know Micky Died this week.

He was the engine shop manger and IA for Kenmore Air, for many years and taught a great many young A&Ps their trade, and was a great friend of the Monrows and my long time go to guy for 985 engine info.

We'll miss him, but 85 was a good run.

If he was a Shop Manager for Kenmore, he must surely have been a craftsman - the planes they rebuild look better than DHC ever saw from the factory.

Sorry for the loss, for those who knew him, and for those (like me) who never will.
