  • [SIZE=-1]Military test pilot school graduate or equivalent experience[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=-1]College graduate with a degree in engineering or related technical field[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=-1]Current Member of The Ninety-Nines[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=-1]Pleasant personality and a team player[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=-1]Comfortable with public speaking, with the media, and on camera[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=-1]Willing to relocate to Oklahoma City[/SIZE]
[SIZE=-1]Rocketplane Limited, Inc[/SIZE][SIZE=-1]. was incorporated in 2001 to make space flight available at a reasonable price to space enthusiasts, and is adhering to a rigorous design, development, and testing schedule for its first anticipated passenger flight in January 2007.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=-1]The Rocketplane XP [/SIZE][SIZE=-1]will takeoff from Spaceport Oklahoma in the horizontal position, like a conventional business jet. At 20,000 feet, the pilot will ignite the ORBITEX rocket engine to initiate a near vertical climb to 330,000 feet above the Earth. The civilian passengers will have the space experience of a lifetime, enjoying the view of Earth and the sensation of weightlessness in sub-orbital space flight. As the Rocketplane XP descends into the lower atmosphere, the pilot will restart the jet engines for a conventional landing.[/SIZE]
