Hey, I've had employees just like that! Never would listen, or you'd think they purposely 'misunderstood' (again - despite repeated corrections!) and then you wanted to threated physical violence!
Actually my fil has Dragon and I've heard similar from him when he visits (has a visual impairment). Its pretty good at reading all the email and such to him however.
