I can't watch the video at work but, if it's the opening scene from "Always" I believe it's a Consolidated PBY Catalina.

Not fake. Camera angle. Flown by Jim McCown an Air Force bomber pilot in WWII who was a fire-bomber after the war. He makes an appearance in the movie "Always", flying one of Robert P. Schlaefli's PBYs.)
