VFR only distance.

A long VFR flight is just a series of shorter flights. Nothing different than going across town other than more weather charts to look over.

Was VFR only from 1991 until last year. Went wherever I pleased or had time to.

No limit at all, I want to get my instrument ticket to use as a tool, but I would leave for Alaska tomorrow (well maybe not CBs forecast) VFR if I had the time and money.

I've flown to almost all of the lower 48 states VFR. There are no restrictions. Weather is above mins, go.

I've been stuck for days waiting for the weather to break. I find local RVers and have a good time.

One time a storm was blocking my path so I put down at an airport in Iowa that rebuilds P-51 Mustangs. The guys gave me the grand tour.

In 2002 a friend and I did a 4,300 mile, 11 state, 32 hour circumnavigation of the western U.S. in my Mooney to celebrate him getting his license. We were VFR for 95% of that trip, only filing to get through the marine layer in Santa Barbara, CA and to get out of Ukiah, CA. Otherwise we were VFR the whole trip.

Wow, that sounds great. I am also VFR 95% of the time.
