Very nice flight yesterday

Took wife, brother-in-law (wife's bro), and his wife for an IFR X-C from FDK to ESN. Beautiful weather. The in-laws had never flown GA before and they LOVED it!

Nice!
I took up a young friend today and he let his 19yo girlfriend ride in front. I said, d'you want to fly? She took that yoke and made it happen. Young people have no fear! Really, she was smooth and followed instructions amazingly well. People like that could make a determined non-instructor.... want to!

Even though most of my flights have been out of BWI, this is the very first time I've overflown the airport at 5,000.
