Used 396 Price?

Anybody have a ballpark figure for a used Garmin 396 now that the 496's are out?

A fellow pilot has offered to sell me his but I don't know what's a fair price to offer.

I just did a quick search on Ebay. It looks like they go for around $1700.

I usually enter the search term in the search box on the main ebay page. Then whent he results pop up there's a checkbox on the left side for completed acutions.You have to log in before it will complete the search.
