Underdog? Stoopid movie ideas in Hollywood

Transformers, OK.

I just saw the trailer for the movie that looked to be about the dumbest ever, a live action UNDERDOG! It even looked like torture on the trailer.

It wasn't bad enough you have to buy into sitting there for movie length watching real dogs talk, they made Underdog a wise cracker Jason Lee rather than Wally Cox.

Lemme guess. Original ideas are too hard to come up with. They looked around and said what can the rights for, and completely missed the point of the source material.

Adam Rifkin as the writer. Heh. The "Adam Rafkin" loser writer in "Action" was him.

I like the concept of an Underdog movie. The cartoon was great but this movie is not the Underdog movie I would want to see.

BTW Ratatouille was EXCELLENT!!!

I remember watching the cartoon when I was a little kid. I even had an Underdog toy set with car, boat, and airplane.

Dittos about Ratatouille. It was the most successful at achieving suspended disbelief of any cartoon movie lately.

I hope the Simpsons movie doesn't suck.

I find it telling that the trailer I watched from the link above had a Zantac ad attached to it.
