It looks like we the taxpayers will be buying the entire TSA corp new uniforms and a new style ID. These people are supposed to be protecting the citizens of this country. Jeesh!

Don' cha think these functional illiterates would lose the new stuff just as fast?

I say the TSA makes all of its personell "volunteer" to be the first in country with implanted RFID tags. Then we'd only have to watch out for whoever got number 666.

Bruce is, of course, correct.

Side note: the TSA has no clue how many airport SIDA badges have been lost or stolen. They also categorically stated that screeners must pass through security - until the news folks showed hidden camera footage of screeners passing through without being checked (note: this is part of the reason that cameras are banned at checkpoints). TSA then stated that screeners must pass through security - but only at the beginning of their shift.
