Twice this week planes were forced to abort takeoffs at O'Hare International Airport to avoid colliding with other aircraft, the Federal Aviation Administration said Friday.

Ok. I made up the second part, but that's only because Duh Mare hasn't had a press meeting yet.
Note that the expansion plan for O'Hare adds about a half dozen more runway intersections and runways that violate the federal standards for separation. The controllers have howled about that. For whatever reason the city won't listen to any alternative ideas on the runway placement. Maybe the plan maximizes the required concrete required from da guys wit' noses like dis.
