Any recomendations for service for an old cessna (1976 vintage) turn coordinator? It works, but it seems to oscillate and not give a smooth turn indication. My guess is it's just dirty inside and needs to be cleaned. The repair facility that is looking at it just wants to replace it for $1800 bucks. Is there any place we can have it shipped to that would work on it?

Where are you? I haven't sent anything off in a long time, but there was a shop at the base of Long Beach tower that I used to use and shipped to a couple of times. They were good at fixing what you brought for minimal $$$, even a full overhaul wasn't bad.
